Does Cricket Have A Future In Canada?

Came across this video on YouTube the other day.  A 1994 CBC video report.

We’ve come a long way since 1994, but there is still plenty more work to do.  Especially at the grass-roots level.  We need to get more players at a younger age and we need give them the facilities and guidance required to take a step up to the next level.

What do you think?  How far can cricket go in Canada?  Can we ever make it as a main stream sport?
